Random pic:
Just a random pic taken before the rain began on Day 8.
More commentary & selected pics tomorrow or soonish after. Have uploaded all pics to the gallery, but they are not all sorted, nor do they have captions. If you were on the ride, you won’t need them, and if not, well, you can extrapolate for the meantime.

I like the rain photo – all the reflections in the road and stuff. Which bikes were the most reliable in that kind of weather?
Actually, the Schwinn was the winner in the wet. We were informed by Ken that eZee bikes were aware that the cutoff was a more of a problem than a help and was only present in the 2006 model: the 2007 releases don’t have the same cutoff. Still, in retrospect, a Schwinn US domestic model would probably be my top pick for buying a new ebike. They’re lightweight, reliable and with the 400 w motor instead of the slightly aneamic 250w, they are sure to be a winner. The bike is lighter and handles more like a regular bike than any other ebike I’ve ridden so far. And no problems in the wet 🙂
